Community guidelines
Simple rules for asking & answering ATCapture questions.
The goal of this support portal is to help each other use ATCapture more effectively. These guidelines keep the experience friendly, clear and useful for everyone.
How to ask a good question
- Be specific. Mention if it’s about screenshots, recording, short URLs or QR tools.
- Include steps. Describe what you did, step by step.
- Share your environment. Windows version, ATCapture version, browser (if extensions involved).
- Describe expected vs actual. What did you expect to happen? What actually happened?
- Avoid sensitive info. Do not paste private links, credentials or personal information.
How to write a helpful answer
- Address the question directly. Stay focused on the problem being asked.
- Provide steps or reasoning. Explain why your suggestion should work.
- Mention limitations. If your solution is a workaround, say so.
- Be kind. Assume the person asking has already tried basic things.
Using likes, comments & accepted answers
- Likes are for answers or comments that helped you or look correct.
- Comments are for small clarifications, not full answers.
- Accepted answer should be the one that solved the original problem.
Clear signals help others quickly find the best solution later.
What not to post
- No offensive or disrespectful language.
- No personal or confidential data (credentials, private customer information, etc.).
- No unrelated spam or advertising.
Violating content may be edited or removed to keep the community helpful and safe.
